Meet Our Gunslinger Team!
Each and everyone of these people play an important role
in not only the dogs' lives, but also the puppies.
Your future puppy is loved and socialized by many people before reaching you!
Our "team" are also people we consider friends - in our home we are all family.
We have people working at our home from six AM to nine PM.
They watch over and love the dogs and puppies throughout the day (along with us), as well as keep things clean.
Melinda
OWNER + FOUNDER OF GUNSLINGER TOY AUSSIES
Melinda is the owner and founder of Gunslinger Toy Aussies.
She lives in Benton, MS with her boyfriend, Joey, and his daughter, Reagan. She studied Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University (HAIL STATE!) and is currently working as a Veterinary pharmaceutical developer & regulator, dealing with all the important medical breakthroughs for animal science.
During her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, spending time outdoors, and loving on all of her sweet Aussies!
Whitney
MISSISSIPPI MANAGER + MEDIA + MARKETING
Whitney is the manager at Gunslinger Toy Aussies in Mississippi. She also handles all of the media and marketing for our business.
Whitney lives in Benton, MS with her husband and 4 children. She attended Belhaven University for Psychology, English, History and Biblical studies. She recently retired as a wedding photographer and has become our own personal photographer here at Gunslinger Toy Aussies! She is also our in-house flight nanny!

Whitney spends most of her time working as Melinda's personal assistant and creating new and exciting changes to grow our business. She gets to love on all of our dogs here at GTA, especially her little Gunslinger Aussie, Dakota ("Kota"), a black bi female Aussie out of our very own Cha Cha and Shadow!
During her downtime, Whitney enjoys spending time with her family, hunting, bow fishing, riding horses, and sleeping!
Macy
AUSSIE CARETAKER/ASSISTANT
Macy is an Aussie caretaker and such a huge help to us here on the ranch.
Macy lives in Yazoo City, Mississippi and attends online classes with
Holmes Community College. She is strongly considering going to radiology school next fall, but is still deciding. We are proud of her hard work and commitment!
During her downtime, Macy enjoys spending time with her friends and family and going to concerts. Her two favorite dogs are Mo and Tommy! Mo is one of our older females, and she just loves Macy! Tommy is one of our newer babies, and he and Macy have become really attached to each other! Macy also has two other dogs at home, a chihuahua mix and a red heeler!
Sara
AUSSIE CARETAKER
Sara is our newest Aussie Caretaker, but she is a huge asset here on the Gunslinger Ranch!
Sara lives in Yazoo City, Mississippi with her fiancé, Mike, and her youngest son, Isaiah. She has an associates degree in Industrial Maintenance, an associates degree in Human Resource Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. She's also currently taking online classes to work towards getting her Master's Degree in business management! Sara is very committed to her work, both in school, and here at the ranch! We are proud of her hard work and commitment!
During her downtime, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the woods around her house, and cleaning! Her favorite dog is Viper! Viper is one of our older females, and she just loves Sara! Sara also has two other dogs at home!
Nikki
AUSSIE CARETAKER
Sidney
Nikki is also one of our Aussie Caretakers! She is a huge help around the ranch, and all of the dogs love her!
Nikki lives in Benton, Mississippi with her daughter, Baylee. She attended classes at Holmes Community College. Nikki now works full time at Merit Health Pediatrics in Flowood during the week, and she works here with us during the weekends.
During her downtime, Nikki enjoys spending time with her daughter, Baylee, her twin sister, Crystal, and her boyfriend, Lee. Her favorite dog is Jack! Jack is one of our top males, and he loves Nikki! Nikki also has a dog of her own at home, a Boston Terrier named Guss!
KANSAS MANAGER
Sidney is the Aussie manager in Kansas! She has been with Gunslinger Aussies since May of 2018, and has been a huge part of our GTA family.
Sidney lives in Kansas and helps with all of the dogs at our Kansas GTA location. She has also been a huge help in the past by attending dog shows with Melinda.
During her downtime, Sidney enjoys spending time outdoors and spending time with her Labrador Retriever, Beau,
and her Aussies, Tucker & Rico.
